Ground-Gas Solutions is the market leading specialist consultancy in continuous ground-gas data capture and analysis. The company's staff have extensive experience of ground-gas contamination issues.

Using the unique in-borehole monitoring device, the Gasclam® developed by Salamander, alongside conventional technologies, Ground-Gas Solutions obtains continuous time-series data that allows the correlation of gas concentrations with other relevant environmental factors such as atmospheric pressure and ground water level. Additional analytical tools such as concentration duration curves, borehole purge & recovery tests and hysteresis analysis allow the calculation of high-confidence risk assessments.

This approach is increasingly demanded by regulators and provides real cost-benefits to site owners and developers through faster decision making and better targeted protective measures.

Ground-Gas Solutions are continually enhancing their services through on-going research activity in collaboration with the University of Manchester.
