Remediation Strategy

Takes into account all the investigated detail and the risk assessment, and puts forward the options and actions deemed necessary to mitigate or eliminate unacceptable risks to the existing site usage, or the proposed change of use of the site.

This will be a document for discussion and approval by both planners and regulators, as well as other statutory bodies consulted as part of the process. The strategy may not always include physical remedial works, as they may be unwarranted or, in some cases, the risk does not exist (the S-P-R ‘linkage' is not proven, or is ‘broken').
