The British Standards Committee on Soil Quality is seeking an author for its proposal which has recently been approved for the use of the British Standards/Department for Business, Innovation and Skills funding scheme to revise and update BS10175:2001 Investigation of Potentially Contaminated Sites Code of Practice.
The work will need to be completed in a short period of time and the draft will need to be submitted to the appropriate BSI committee within six months of the project's start in January.
The Committee would expect the expert to:-
- hold consultation meetings with stakeholders including its technical steering group;
- prepare the revision drafts;
- carry out necessary research and development;
- consider comments received and amend the text;
- see the project through to delivery to the Committee.
Expressions of interest are required by 5 November.
