Peel Land & Property has submitted an outline application to Medway Council for a mixed-use development of a 10.5ha part of Chatham Docks.
The "Chatham Waters" scheme will include around 180,000m² of employment space including offices, education facilities, an event venue and a hotel, plus flats and houses, landscaped areas and a shop.
"The feedback we received at the public consultation was invaluable and we are very pleased that so many people were supportive of our plans for Chatham Waters," said Peel development director James Whittaker.
"We have taken the comments received on board and are pleased to have submitted a planning application to the Council."
Indigo Planning, Planitie, Traffic Transport & Highway Consultancy and Five Plus Architects are advising Peel on the scheme.
