DCLG is planning to undertake a review of the Government's programme to regenerate former coalfields, communities minister Ian Austin told South Derbyshire MP Mark Todd in a Commons written answer.
He said his Department would work with stakeholders on the details of the review and an announcement would be made in due course.
The Homes and Communities Agency's National Coalfields Programme presently covers 38 local authority areas in seven English regions.
