Shadow planning minister Bob Neill has indicated a Conservative government would introduce a Bill on planning, housing and local government in the next session to implement the Party's plans for the Infrastructure Planning Commission and Planning Inspectorate, but he indicated it is still open to persuasion on other planning issues.
He told a Transport Planning Society conference that the Bill would be included in the first Queen's Speech if the Party wins the election but said it is open to considering responses to its planning green paper on a range of issues.
